Once upon time.. a young couple found a tiny farm worker's cottage from the turn of the century in a sleepy Frisian seaside village, surrounded by 400 square meters of wild and abundant gardens.
In the beginning we had nothing but the wilderness, permanent sea wind and little money, but boundless ideas and love for anything that lives and grows...
Several years of passionate work and botanical adventurousness in what seemed like a totally unsuitable climate bore fruit: If you follow the cobbled path hidden beyond the old village school (or our
virtual garden in the webblog!) now, you'll suddenly find a secret jungle, flourishing with palm trees of any species, untamed bamboo, exotic fruit trees mingling with native orchard, ancient Andalusian olive trees beside wine stems from southern France, Bonsai Yamadori meeting English Roses..
